'''Summary:''' Pipeline-based ETL/ELT service for moving data into/out of Cosmos DB.

== Overview ==
Azure Data Factory is a cloud ETL/ELT service that can be used to move data into or out of Azure Cosmos DB as part of pipeline-based data movement strategies — such as bulk-loading data from other sources, or migrating/copying data between Cosmos DB accounts or containers — as an alternative to using SDK bulk operations, Kafka connectors, or Stream Analytics for data movement.

== Answer Key ==
''Answers are listed at the very end so you can attempt the questions first.''

* '''Q1 (Azure Data Factory (Data Movement)):''' A. Azure Data Factory — Azure Data Factory (and Azure Synapse pipelines) provide pipeline-based data movement capabilities for Cosmos DB.
* '''Q2 (Azure Data Factory (Data Movement)):''' A. A Kafka connector — The DP-420 objectives list SDK bulk operations, ADF/Synapse pipelines, a Kafka connector, Stream Analytics, and the Spark connector as data movement options.
